Synopsis :
Fawn Bell (who could very well pass for Sailormoon's
long-lost sister) is a ninja girl who just wants to go
and live in the city like any other normal person. She
and her boyfriend / fellow ninja Moon Shadow attempt to
escape from Ninja Country, but they are caught by their
leader Madam Devil Grace. Madam Devil Grace punishes the
two by forcing them to have sex in front of the whole
ninja clan... awakening their insatiable libidos and
exhibitionist tendencies in the process! Soon Fawn Bell
and Moon Shadow are doing it everywhere all the time,
much to Madam Devil Grace's frustration. But another
ninja girl named Morning Mist is determined to get in
between Fawn Bell and Moon Shadow...

Review
Since
Karakuri Ninja Girl is primarily about ninjas and sex, I was
expecting something along the lines of the grossly overrated "La
Blue Girl". What I got was a funny Hentai anime that features more
creative sexual uses for ninja techniques, all the while making fun
of Sailormoon. Is that good? Hell, yes!
Karakuri Ninja Girl has a very simple and straightforward plot. We
have two lovebirds who want to get away from it all and be happy
together, then we have a few obstacles standing in their way. I
can't really describe it any more without telling the whole story.
What I can tell you is that I really enjoyed watching Karakuri Ninja
Girl. The characters are hilarious, and the escapades amusing to say
the least. You even get an outright Sailormoon impersonation from
Moon Shadow himself (see second screenshot below).
The art and animation are nicely done, although the character
designs for Fawn Bell and Morning Mist are too cutesy for my taste.
Sex is depicted explicitly, yet in most (not all) scenes the lower
genitalia are rendered invisibly. If the male member is shown in a
scene, it's portrayed unrealistically -- like a big glowing fuschia
rod or something like that. There are no demon or tentacle rapes,
it's all human-to-human action which also includes girl-to-girl sex
scenes. It's nowhere as hardcore as "La Blue Girl", which could
either be a positive or negative point... depending on one's
perspective. The English dubbing is okay for a Hentai anime, I
guess. The voices suited the characters, but the acting is rather
stilted and inexpressive.
Karakuri Ninja Girl is short, sweet, and generally just fun. It's
only two episodes long but I found that this length keeps things
from being overdone. I'd recommend this in place of "La Blue Girl"
any day...
