Weird!!!
That's the first word that came to mind after watching Sailor and
the 7 Ballz. Sailor and the 7 Ballz is first and foremost, a hentai
anime spoof. There's really no plot involved. Sailormoon and Tuxedo
Mask send out invitations to the anime populace for their wedding.
The wedding is to be held at the Castle of Kamen, Tuxedo Mask's
abode. As the various guests arrive, they meet each other and uh...
proceed to get intimately acquainted.
I found Sailor and the 7 Ballz to be pretty amusing and funny. Anime
fans will either get some laughs or get offended as it really
degrades characters from different series. Movie buffs can also
relate because Sailor and the 7 Ballz spoofs Hollywood titles like
"Sliver" and "Blair Witch Project". Hentai addicts will identify
titles like "Orchid Emblem" being parodied.
The visuals are substandard. A few backgrounds look like they were
generated using Photoshop filters, while some will remind you of
outdated 3D video game backdrops. The way the characters move sport
a bizarre one-dimensional effect which sometimes makes it seem like
they are paper dolls being moved around (think digitized "South
Park"). Not really such a bad thing, as I find that freakish motions
add to the humor. The artwork ranges from acceptable to bad. In a
few scenes the characters look almost original (if you ignore the
choppy animation), in others they are passable, and yet in some
other scenes they just look ugly. Everyone remains easily
identifiable though.
All the voices are Japanese and portrayed in an exaggerated manner,
enhancing the comedy aspect. Shinji's voice is much higher than the
original (obviously poking fun at the fact that he's somewhat
effeminate). Tuxedo Mask sprouts comical porn talk like "Oh yeah!"
and "Oh baby, you make me feel so randy!" with a Jap accent. He also
blows his load all over the Sliver-esque surveillance monitors in
his room when he's jacking off. It's hilarious. The sexual content
is extremely graphic and detailed, albeit quite primitively drawn.
Sailor and the 7 Ballz is by no means a great anime, but it does
have entertainment value. If your list of fantasies include watching
Goku screw Sailorvenus' brains out in an elevator while she gives
Shinji a blow job, or seeing Rei Ayanami being gang-banged by the
DBZ boys, then by all means pick this up.
