Review
I don't
know about you, but somehow, the title Sexorcist conjures up images
of demon-possessed perverts running loose with a seductive exorcist
going after them. Then again, it could just be my wild imagination
-- because Sexorcist isn't anything like that.
As the synopsis suggests, Sexorcist is all about Rika's quest to
find Sandy -- which she does rather quickly. Rika discovers that
some rich people with nothing better to do have built an underground
fighting arena for Silhouettes. Male Silhouettes are pitted against
females, and what often ensues is not just a battle but a rape.
Although it's the robots who are f*cking, the manipulators feel
every single sensation as if it's their actual physical bodies that
are involved. Rika must somehow rescue Sandy and escape, which isn't
going to be easy since she is captured and forced to fight in the
arena with her Silhouette. The events are so predictable that
there's no sense of thrill or suspense at all, and I was tempted to
just fast-forward and get it over with.
The art and animation are average at best. Rika's Silhouette (who's
named Mimi) is kind of cute, but everyone else looks plain and
uninteresting. All the sexual scenes involve Silhouettes (except the
scene where Sandy plays with Rika's uh, privates) rather than
humans. Although the male Silhouettes' snaky tongues and penises are
shown, any intercourse that takes place isn't too detailed because
the most you'll see from the ladies are boobs and butts. Female
lower extremities are either shadowed or blocked from full view.
All in all, Sexorcist isn't really worth bothering with. Save
yourself from boredom and just skip it altogether.
