From the makers of "Sailor and the 7 Ballz" comes Star Ballz... which is to say the least, a totally crazed and perverted anime version of "Star Wars". As soon as the title screen flashes, faint mumbling and snickering can be heard -- very much like something out of MTV's Beavis and Butthead.

Anyhow, don't expect any sort of plot from this sex-fest... because that's exactly what it is -- a sex-fest. Given, there's a damsel who's supposedly in distress but she's much too busy enjoying herself to convince anyone that she's in trouble. I had a hard time understanding most of the dialogue as the English dubbing is pretty bad. Everyone tends to talk in low, mumbling voices that would require turning the volume way up before you can get a decent understanding of what's being said.

Star Ballz also spoofs several Hollywood films. Movie buffs will identify scenes from "Basic Instinct", "Entrapment", and "Thelma and Louise" among others. Star Ballz's visuals show a marked improvement over "Sailor and the 7 Ballz", although they still aren't anything great. SB's computer-generated backgrounds look more sophisticated, and have gone past the outdated-3D-video-game-backdrop look. The characters look consistently okay, and are easily identifiable. Their movements still have the bizarre one-dimensional effect of paper dolls being moved around (again, think digitized "South Park"), but they are smoother than S7B overall.

Sexually speaking, Star Ballz is extremely graphic. Everything is shown, down to the hairs of their chinny chin... uh, never mind. Even Darth Vader's robotic cohorts get a shot at getting it on with the princess. Other things to look forward to include (but are not limited to) a guest appearance by Darth Maul, a Hentai scene between Chewbacca and C3PO (who has grown boobs by the way), and a brief moment with X-Files' Mulder and Scully (at least I think they're supposed to be Mulder and Scully). I have to admit though, I fell asleep twice when I was watching this. Maybe it's because I'm not a Star Wars fan to begin with... or maybe it's because I couldn't make out most of the dialogue. Whichever the case, I got more laughs out of "Sailor and the Seven Ballz" -- even with its inferior visuals. Get this at your own risk.
